Greater London South West Scout County & Surrey Scout Paragliding Club
The club currently offer three types of courses. These are as follows:
Initial Course - A one day introductory course which involves safety training, canopy theory and launching, and three tethered round canopy flights. Please see the information pack for costs. Due to insurance restrictions we are not able to fly members of the public.
Scouts Parascending Activity Badge Course - Applicants must have attended an introductory day before they can attend the Activity Badge. The course includes theory lectures, an exam and four tethered round canopy flights. Please see the information pack for costs.Price upon application.
Wings Flying Course - A two day course for persons interested in flying the wing canopies. Applicants must be over 16 years of age and have attended at least one basic course. Price on application.

Open to Scout & Explorers YL & Leaders
All courses are for those participants that are at least 10½ years or older for Scouts or 14 years or older for Girl Guides. All must be 45kg/7stone or over in weight.
Cost start from £45
One person doing basic course = three flights
A Scout doing parascenders badge = four flights
There are local Scout campsites for those wishing to make a weekend of it.
